Many students think that the school is a great place to do their homework on. The students might have annoying roommates or many siblings running around at home so they can't focus on their homework. Therefore it's crucial that we can continue to have a calm and safe area to study at in school.

This is the big study area in Blaak, next to Print Studio, where it's quite popular to sit and study.

In the corners of the middle table you can see it's two x's. Normally it's three x's in Amsterdam's flag, and for many people this is strongly related to the Netherlands overall. It has now became a symbol for the whole country.
But why can't Rotterdam create a new modern flag with only 2 x's? I think they should and therefore I've arranged the chairs to & tables so they create 2 x's together.

The three seats in the corner of the middle table is especially made for group work or for classmates that wants to study together. Here it's a transparent plastic wall between them so they easily can talk and work together with a safe distance.

Maybe you think that it's not so eco-friendly to use a lot of plastic, and of course I've been taking that in my mind. The plastics that are used here in the corners are plastic that have been collected on the street and then melted down. This is the future of Rotterdam;
classic and eco-friendly

Hopefully this would create a start of a bigger movement and lead into new projects that can save our climate.

And last but not least; it is possible to design with green fingers!
